Jesus had deliberately chose to be a man in this world, walked as 100% man and didn’t consider it robbery from a deity like Him to be a man like us but furthermore willing to be a human as a servant which teaches us the purposeful life as a human is to be a servant just like Jesus (Philippians 2:6-7). Jesus understands what a human might gone through along his life and He had faced every temptation yet avail with glorious victory over sin until the end of His life so you and I might be partakers in this triumph. He wants us to live a life that is guilt free and no more conscious over sin just like what He did to broken woman caught in adultery (John 8:10-11).
Jesus understands what we have gone through, are going through and what we might go through in our life. Because He understands, He wants us to life in freedom over habits of worrying and fear. He understands that human easily tempted and inclined to worry and fear of what they might lack of. Needs, wants, desires, possessions drive people get worried if any of those lack even a bit or there’s possibility of fall short of in the future. What people perceive is by worrying it would help them to think and overcome the bad outcomes that might happen is actually do the opposite way. Worrying and fear cripples and paralyzes people.
Worry and fear creep in when we feel insecure and don’t aware who we have, who watches over us and is always with us with all-loving and all protecting presence. The sense of insecurity might vanish when we realize the God of love is with us as John stated perfect love casts out fears (1 John 4:18). Just like when Jesus healed the paralytic man who his friends brought him from the roof when Jesus heals the paralytic man (Mark 2:1-12). Jesus understands that sickness might come fell upon a man not what God intends to but it is because constant worrying and fear that paves a way for devil to creep in and do their works in human life that makes people sick and paralyzed. Thus Jesus told the paralytic man that his sins are forgiven first before the healing takes place. When the man knows who is Jesus that He has the authority over the heaven and earth to forgive sins as he who has seen Him has seen the Father and knows His character and glory by meeting face to face with Jesus which shines all loving and all forgiving one, the supernatural healing takes place and he can walk over his shortcomings.
Beloved, realize that you have Jesus in every walk of your life. He understands, able and more than willing to bless and prosper you to have a life that victorious, more than conquerors as what Romans 8:37 said. We are more than conquerors in our life through Jesus Christ who loves us. Any competition winners gain their victory through sacrifice, sufferings and painful moments. After obtaining the trophy as the proof of the victory, the effect and the meaning might erodes as time goes by. In contrary, we are triumphant through the love and finished work of Jesus that the trophy, the finish line, the salvation is already ours and will be eternal forever. That the victory might be ours not because of what we have done but because of what Jesus has accomplished forever perfectly at the cross that perfectly sanctifies us to be holy as He is Holy (Ephesians 2:8-10; Hebrews 10:14; 1 Peter 1:16; John 1:16).
